Frequently Asked Questions

What if I don't have anywhere to mount my Solo Spray?

No need to worry! Even if you are at the beach or in the desert, you can still get your back easily with a Solo Spray. Just hold the bottom of the spray canister after you attach it to the Solo Spray, hold the hand grip with your other hand, and you'll be able to reach around your back and spray your back. The extra 6-8 inches of reach is usually plenty to reach that hard-to-reach spot in the middle of your back. It isn't as easy as when you can mount it to a stable vertical surface, but it does the trick.

Why did my Solo Spray work yesterday, but now when I squeeze the lever it doesn't spray?

Sometimes after mounting the bottle, it can loosen slightly after a few days, so you'll just need to quickly retighten the bottle. You can either tighten the nylon strap, or you can turn the threaded nodule clockwise which lowers it to the cap and gets it nice and snug against the top of the canister. This should be all you need to do. If necessary, you may want to raise the threaded nodule by twisting counterclockwise, then tighten the bottle using the nylon strap as snug as you can get, and then lower the threaded nodule to the cap by twisting clockwise. Be sure not to spray yourself in the eyes or face! Please see our YouTube page for videos with helpful tips and tricks for securing bottles to a Solo Spray.

What makes Solo Spray better than competing Do-It-Yourself products on the market?

Solo Spray lets you quickly, easily, and removably mount it to a variety of stable, vertical surfaces, and ensures direct application of your product to your back and other hard to reach areas. This gives you confidence that you have covered yourself completely and you are protected. No more glancing blows or reaching around awkwardly, hoping for the best. With a Solo Spray you can be confident you are protected.

What is the best sunscreen or continuous spray products to use?

We love using No-Rub formulations for ease of use, and of course we prefer our customers use environmentally conscious brands that are both Oxybenzone Free and Paraben Free, but whichever sunscreen you prefer will work!

I need to rub in my product, what can I do?

If you need to rub in your product, we offer convenient and inexpensive elastic bands that solve this problem with ease. The important thing is to get direct application, but being able to rub it in provides that much more assurance you are good to go. If you have fine hairs on your back sometimes the spray can form little droplets, so even a no-rub formulation spray may need to be spread around. Honestly, I've even used a door frame to just smear it around. No judgement. For many products, like pain relief sprays, you won't need to rub in the product at all.

I accidentally broke the threaded nodule, what can I do?

Just send us an email at OfficialSoloSpray@gmail.com and we will be happy to mail you a replacement free of charge. We just want you to use Solo Spray and enjoy your lifestyle!

Can my children use a Solo Spray?

If your kids can use sunscreen, they should be able to use a Solo Spray. This is totally your call, but it's so easy to use we think it is good for ages 7 and up. First show them how to use it safely, of course, and they should be good to go.*

What do I do if it doesn't fit my product bottle?

We are focused on continuous improvement, and want to make Solo Spray as good as we possibly can. Please send us an email at OfficialSoloSpray@gmail.com or a message on social media @OfficialSoloSpray or through our Facebook Page Solo Spray, telling us the product that you are unable to use. We want to make it work for you and will try our best to design the next version to be compatible. We will send you the updated version for free as our git to you for providing us invaluable feedback.

Tip: For Dermoplast Brand bottles, it works if you pop off the cap and just use the small white spray tip that is underneath. For OFF! Spray bottles, a little bit of adjustment is necessary, but it is possible.
